Scott DeDolph - Colorado's Personal Injury Attorney 970-482-2500
BIOGRAPHY
Scott DeDolph Law Firm P.C. has represented hundreds of injured
Coloradoans from all walks of life, and because of his early life
experiences, is intellectually as well as professionally drawn to auto,
motorcycle and trucking accident cases as well as an increasing number of
eye injury cases.
Scott's youth had been spent helping out at his Father's surgical clinic,
and working in his grandfather's auto repair and service shops.
Scott's father exposed him to the medical texts and professional discussions
of his colleagues, as well as the techniques he taught at the University of
Minnesota. He wanted Scott to be a doctor like his own father and
grandfather had been.
After being injured on motorcycles two different times caused by
negligent automobile drivers, Scott decided that representing people who had
been injured in motor vehicle collisions and other accidents would be more
challenging and exciting than a career patching up the injured people.
EDUCATION
Scott DeDolph, Esq. obtained his bachelor's degree in speech
communication (Debate, Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communications,
Persuasion, and Rhetoric) in 1978. During his undergrad years, he took
both pre-med and pre-law programs until his second motorcycle accident
caused him to choose law.
While a law student, Scott was employed by the Minnesota State Senate.
Before graduating, Scott worked for the Senate Judiciary Committee, as well
as several Minneapolis law firms. Scott was awarded his Doctorate
Degree in Law in 1982 from the William Mitchell College of Law of St. Paul,
Minnesota, and immediately headed for Colorado. Beginning just two
years out of law school, he served as a Municipal Judge in two Northern
Colorado communities while also building his law practice.
Scott opened his law office in Fort Collins, Colorado in June of 1983,
and began accepting injury cases of all kinds. Being so familiar with
medicine and motor vehicles, it was a natural development that drives the
valuations of personal injury cases.
In addition to hundreds of broken bones and teeth, surgeries and skull
fracture cases, Scott has witnessed the rapidly increasing frequency of eye
injuries of all kinds. Besides accidental shootings and vehicular eye
injuries, Scott has handled complications from Lasik surgeries which should
never have been performed, which have caused ectasia, triple vision, halos,
ghosting, bursting and starring.
No matter what types of injuries you have, and no matter how someone
else's negligence caused your injuries, Scott has likely handled many cases
like yours. He clarifies the "smoke and mirrors" of the insurance
companies in their efforts to evade payment of honest claims. Scott
DeDolph knows their turf and he knows how they "spin" cases to try to
de-value them. He has hundreds of very satisfied clients to prove it.
Many doctors and lawyers refer their patients/clients to Scott. Feel
free to ask for references if you haven't been given my name by someone you
know.
